FAQ

What are natural gas liquids?
Most natural gas is processed to separate the heavier hydrocarbon liquids from the natural gas stream. These heavier hydrocarbon liquids, commonly referred to as natural gas liquids or NGLs, traditionally have a higher value than the gaseous natural gas stream. NGLs include ethane-propane mix, propane, iso-butane, normal butane and natural gasoline.

How are natural gas liquids used?
Primary uses for NGLs are for the manufacture of plastics, home heating and refinery feedstocks.
