Natural gas is abundant in the Marcellus – and innovations are allowing it to meet the nation’s need. Demand for natural gas is forecast to increase by almost 1 percent each year through 2035.
Moving the needed energy to markets throughout the country was one of the challenges discussed at the Natural Gas Utilization conference, hosted by Penn State University.
The conference brought together top industry experts, including Jeremy, Williams’ manager of Commercial Development in the northeast.
At the conference, Jeremy discussed the challenges and opportunities presented by the Marcellus and the Utica Shale plays, including how to make energy reach homes, manufacturers and power generation plants.
