The Tulsa Press Club honored Williams President and CEO Alan Armstrong as one of its 2016 Headliners Club inductees at an event this week in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
For 60 years, Headliners has recognized outstanding civic, business, professional and industrial leaders of the Tulsa community, “whose unselfish contribution to the growth, welfare and culture of Tulsa have made them Headliners in every sense of the word.”
In his remarks, Armstrong challenged those in attendance to continue working toward making Tulsa the kind of city that can attract and retain a quality workforce.
Armstrong joins three past Williams CEOs named Headliners: Joe Williams, John Williams and Keith Bailey. Since 1956, several other Tulsa energy industry pioneers have been named to the Headliners Club, including W.G. Skelly, W.K. Warren, Lawrence Dresser and Henry Zarrow.
