Eric Ormond
Professional Experience
Eric Ormond became Senior Vice President of Williams’ Project Execution organization in January 2024. In this role, Ormond is responsible for successfully delivering projects across the company’s footprint through project development and execution, environmental permitting, regulatory engagement, facilities and compression and land management functions.
Ormond most recently served as Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations, Engineering & Project Management (EPM) for Crestwood Midstream Partners. During his tenure, he was responsible for leading the commercial functions for Crestwood’s Gathering and Processing business segments in the Permian, Williston and Powder River basins while integrating Commercial Operations and EPM teams to increase collaboration and efficiency between technical and commercial functions of the business. Before that role, he was Senior Vice President, EPM, and, prior, Vice President, Strategic Development & New Ventures for Crestwood.
Before joining Crestwood, Ormond was Product Manager – Measurement, Automation & Field Services for Diverse Energy Systems and held engineering and landman roles at other energy industry companies.
Education
Ormond earned both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University.
Industry/Community Leadership
Ormond is an advisory board member for InVenture Fund – Intrepid Financial Partners, a venture capital fund focused on investment in the energy transition. He is also a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the Gas Processors’ Association.
