Annual Grants
Involvement in the communities where we operate is at the heart of Williams. We have a long-standing history of supporting the communities where our employees work and live and where we manage critical energy infrastructure. Our charitable giving reinforces the company’s vision, mission and values and supports infrastructure development goals. Our annual grant program is centered on the six key focus areas below.

Grant Information and Timing
- Applications are accepted starting April 1 through April 30 (by midnight).
- Please review the information below before applying.
- Grant recipients will be contacted on or around August 1
- Grants will range between $1,000 and $25,000
Eligibility Criteria
Eligible organizations/expenses
- Organizations that provide services to benefit Williams’ operating areas
- Programs or services that provide a public benefit
- Schools and 501c3 organizations
- Emergency first responders
- Municipal projects that benefit the entire community
Ineligible organizations/expenses
- Organizations that do not serve residents in Williams’ operating areas
- Event sponsorships
- Sports teams or leagues
- Trade or business associations
- Fraternal organizations or labor unions
- Political causes
- Places of worship
- Requests that benefit an individual
- Non-academic fraternities and sororities
Required Documents
- Current, signed W-9 with mailing address
- Operating budget for current year
- List of board members and trustees
- Budget for capital campaign/project (if applicable)
